The Role of Trainer
Trainers are tasked with investing into their co-chairs or prayer teamers, providing them with the support, encouragement and tools they need to successful fulfill their role.

We highly encourage everyone interested to complete the form above and to attend one of our informationals, as we will cover a lot of important things pertaining to the vision of Impact and the specific role of Trainer.

APPLICATION PROCESS
Everyone applying for training team will complete two (2) podio forms. The first is a cover sheet with all the basic information and common questions. The second link is the app specific questions for the trainer role. Be sure to complete BOTH forms by 10:00pm on Sunday, September 3rd.
INTERVIEW PROCESS
We will contact applicants and have them select an interview in the time frame of Tuesday, September 3rd - Monday, September 9th.
Requirements to Apply
2.0 GPA (both cumulative and most recent grading period to Impact Retreats in August)
At least one year of Impact staff experience as either a Co-Chair or Prayer Teamer
Does not require being a student in the Fall semester following Impact Retreat
Attend Trainer Retreat (October 3-4)
Attend Quad Selections Weekend (October 24-25)
Attend Co-Chair/Prayer Team Retreat (December 5-6)
Attend Counselor Selections Weekend (February 13-14)
Attend Spring First Staff Retreat (February 27-28)
Attend Spring Second Staff Retreat (March 27-28)
Attend Family Weekend Banquet (April 11)
Be available for one of the four Impact Retreat Sessions (July 29 - August 10) and in town the evening of three days before that session date
Willing to adhere to the Staff Behavioral Contract

Co-Chair Trainer
Direct leader over your respective session co-chairs
Lead LCG (time of support / listening / encouragement)
Assist in the development of curriculum for co-chairs
Train your respective session co-chairs in skills needed to be effective in their role
Support and encourage your co-chairs through conversation and past experience
Deliver co-chair specific curriculum
Assist exec team when needs arise with logistics or operations
Attend:
Weekly Meeting with Staff Development Execs
Weekly Sunday Leadership Meetings
Weekly / Bi-Weekly LCGs
Staff Retreats
Banquet
August Impact Retreat
At Retreat:
Support your Co-Chairs as they lead
Serve in whatever way Retreat Coordinators need
NOTE: Previous Co-Chair Experience Required
Prayer Team Trainer
Direct leader over your respective session prayer teamers
Lead SALT (time of support / prayer / training / encouragement)
Assist in the development of curriculum for prayer teamers
Deliver prayer team specific curriculum
Train your respective session prayer teamers in skills needed to be effective in their role
Support and encourage your prayer teamers through conversation and past experience
Assist exec team when needs arise with logistics or operations

Support your Prayer Teamers as they lead in prayer
