The Role of Trainer

Trainers are tasked with investing into their co-chairs or prayer teamers, providing them with the support, encouragement and tools they need to successful fulfill their role.

Sunday, September 23rd @ 2:00 pm (FBC Bryan Fellowship Hall)
Monday, September 24th @ 6:00 pm (FBC Bryan Fellowship Hall)

Requirements to Apply

  • 2.0 GPA (both cumulative and most recent grading period to Impact Retreats in August)

  • At least one year of Impact staff experience

  • Does NOT require being a student in the Fall semester following Impact Retreat.

  • Willing to agree with the Staff Behavioral Contract

Available Positions

Co-Chair Trainer

  • Direct leader over your respective session co-chairs

  • Lead LCG (time of support / listening / encouragement)

  • Assist in the development of curriculum for co-chairs

  • Train your respective session co-chairs in skills needed to be effective in their role

  • Support and encourage your co-chairs through conversation and past experience

  • Deliver co-chair specific curriculum

  • Assist exec team when needs arise with logistics or operations

  • Attend:

    • Weekly Meeting with Staff Development Execs

    • Weekly Sunday Co-Chair Meetings

    • Bi-Weekly LCG

    • Staff Retreats

    • Banquet

    • August Impact Retreat

  • At Retreat:

    • Support your Co-Chairs as they lead

    • Serve in whatever way Retreat Coordinators need

NOTE: Previous Co-Chair Experience Required

Prayer Team Trainer

  • Direct leader over your respective session prayer teamers

  • Lead SALT (time of support / prayer / training / encouragement)

  • Assist in the development of curriculum for prayer teamers

  • Deliver prayer team specific curriculum

  • Train your respective session prayer teamers in skills needed to be effective in their role

  • Support and encourage your prayer teamers through conversation and past experience

  • Assist exec team when needs arise with logistics or operations

  • Attend:

    • Weekly Meeting with Staff Development Execs

    • Monthly Sunday Prayer Team Meetings (with Co-Chairs)

    • Weekly SALTS

    • Staff Retreats

    • Banquet

    • August Impact Retreat

  • At Retreat:

    • Support your Prayer Teamers as they lead in prayer

    • Be in the prayer room with your respective prayer teamers

    • Serve in whatever way Retreat Coordinators need
