Each year hundreds of thousands of high school students depart for college to a new phase of life that will dramatically transform their understanding of themselves and their future. Spiritually speaking, this transition has great possibility!

But statistics show that 70% of church-going students will stop attending a local church altogether when they move to college.

Impact is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization on mission to present the gospel and introduce incoming students to the body of Christ in Bryan and College Station. Before these students even step foot on campus they retreat with us in August to encounter the gospel and experience a glimpse of Christian community which then moves them to the permanent community to be found through the 20+ local churches we partner with throughout the year.

This past year, 1723 incoming students attended Impact Retreat. After just three short weeks in college, 36% of these students said they were confident in their local church choice! An additional 60% stated they had visited local churches but had not ‘landed’ at one yet. This is dramatic! 96% of students attending Impact Retreat stepped foot into the local church within their first few weeks of college, exponentially increasing their likelihood of being committed to the local body of Christ while in college.

Impact has 656 student volunteers who act as coaches, cheerleaders, challengers and connectors for these incoming students. Year-round these students are trained, invested in and challenged to grow in leadership and service to the local body and the world around them. It is through this intentional focused development that Impact volunteers become the example of godly community to the incoming class.

You can be a part of covering the costs to train and develop these volunteers. This cost includes:
