Impact exists to serve incoming freshmen; however, we know that we'd have a hard time doing what we do without the support of parents. We want parents to be able to send their students to Impact feeling confident that they will be loved on and cared for. It is our desire that we put on a retreat that is fun-filled, but also as safe as possible. Two Texas A&M staff members, Patrick Williams and Risa Meyer, serve as university advisors and work with our student staff members to make sure that we are doing everything in our power to make that happen.
If you are a parent of a incoming freshman student, please read the following letter from our Administration Exec, Rebekah Josefy:
Dear Parents,We are oh so thrilled and delighted that you and your student are looking into Impact! The Lord has been so faithful to us over the past several years and we expect to continue to see Him move this year. Impact is a university recognized student-led organization and we work closely each year with Texas A&M to ensure that our retreat is run in a safe and effective manner. Impact invites our advisory team, several support staff from the university and a number of local ministers to be on-site at the retreat in August. We also have a full time medic team.We are prepared and gladly willing to accommodate any special needs that your student may have or may arise during their time at Impact Retreat. If there are any questions you might have or concerns to be addressed, please feel welcome to email me at admin@impactretreat.comThank you for your prayers and support as we approach this year's retreat. We fully anticipate to see the Lord's hand at work!Rebekah Josefy
