What is Impact?

Impact is an annual 4-day retreat for incoming freshmen at Texas A&M University and Blinn College that aims to connect freshmen with Christian students as well as local churches and ministries in the Bryan/College Station area.

Impact 2012 will consist of 3 separate sessions: Alpha (August 5-8), Delta (August 8-1), and Omega (August 11-14).  A staff of nearly 450 Texas A&M students will serve up to 1500 freshmen over these 10 days. Freshmen will engage in speaker sessions, breakout groups, small group discussion, a ministry fair and plenty of fun and games. The retreat will be located at Latham Springs Camp in Aquila, Texas, just north of Waco. For more information about the 2012 Retreat, check out our Retreat page.

Mission Statement:

Impact seeks to glorify the Lord in every aspect of its existence by serving the incoming freshman class and showing them their first glimpse of the body of Christ at Texas A&M.
