What Is Impact?

Impact is a 4-day retreat held in August for incoming freshmen at Texas A&M University and Blinn College that desires to connect you to students, local churches, and ministries that will provide a source of lasting community and fellowship, built on the foundation of Jesus Christ and the truth of the gospel.

Impact Retreat consists of 3 identical sessions: Alpha (August 5-8), Delta (August 8-11), and Omega (August 11-14). During retreat, freshmen will engage in small group discussions, worship and speaker sessions and large group games and activities. In addition, our designated ministry fair will allow freshmen the chance to interact face-to-face with dozens of local churches and organizations in the Bryan/College Station area.

Serving over 1600 freshmen over the course of 10 days, Impact provides an opportunity for you to transition into college with a greater sense of security, support and encouragement as you step into this new season of life.

Mission Statement

Impact seeks to glorify the Lord in every aspect of its existence by serving the incoming freshman class and showing them their first glimpse of the body of Christ at Texas A&M and Blinn.
