Impact 2012 will be held as 3 separate sessions during August (you will only attend 1 session):
Alpha: August 5-8
Delta: August 8-11
Omega: August 11-14
Students will spend 4 days and 3 nights attending speaker sessions, breakout groups, small group discussion, a ministry fair, a rockin' relay, an awesome dance party, and plenty of fun and games. Freshmen will be organized into one of nine "camps" and within that camp they will be placed in a small group with 2 counselors and 6-10 freshmen. The speaker sessions will be led by Ben Stuart, Executive Director of Breakaway Ministries in College Station, with worship by Jeff Johnson.
You will need to arrive in College Station at Lot 100 (at the corner of George Bush Dr. and Olsen Blvd - right by Olsen Field) between 9:30am and 11:30am on the first day of your session, and we will return between 4:00pm and 4:30pm on the last day. Please bring a sack lunch with you when you arrive as dinner that day will be the first meal that we provide.
If you have purchased an A&M parking permit for the 2011-2012 school year, you may use it to park on campus during your Impact session. If you have not yet received the physical permit you may print a receipt showing that you purchased a permit at transport.tamu.edu. If you did not purchase an A&M parking permit you may purchase a temporary permit from us for $5 (CASH ONLY) on the day of your retreat. If you do not have any kind of permit, you will get a ticket or be towed.
The cost is $160, which includes everything for all 4 days of retreat, including meals, transportation, lodging, and a t-shirt. Limited need-based scholarships are available. Please email Anna Gregg for more information.
