Frequently Asked Questions

When can I register for Impact?

Registration will open on May 1st and will be available on this site by clicking the link on the top right.

Where is Impact being held this year?

Impact will be held at Latham Springs in Aquilla, TX. It is about a 2 hour bus ride from College Station. We will meet in College Station and ride together to the retreat.

Where do I go on the first day of my session?

On the first day of your session, you will need to be in College Station between 9:00 and 11:00am. We will depart for Latham Springs around noon from a Texas A&M parking lot on charter buses. Please bring a sack lunch for the bus ride.

How can I park on campus without getting a ticket?

If you have registered for a TAMU parking permit for the school year, you may display the permit or the receipt from your purchase. If you have not registered for one, we will provide instructions for obtaining a Special Events Parking Permit during the registration process, which can be purchased for $5.

What do I need to bring?

- A sack lunch for the first day
- Sleeping bag or set of sheets, and a pillow (our cabins have twin-sized bunk beds)
- Toiletries
- Clothing for four days
- Clothes for theme night (Neon Nights!)
- Tennis shoes (must have closed toed shoes for the relay)
- Towel
- Bible/Journal/Pen
- A water bottle that can be reused (it’s going to be hot!)
- Sun screen/bug spray

Can I choose my session and camp?

While you may choose which session you attend, you may not submit a camp preference. We will randomly assign freshmen to camps as they register.

What do I do after I register for Impact online?

Follow the link to our online payment system to pay for retreat. Retreat will cost $180 (this covers everything during the retreat including meals, lodging, and a t-shirt). After you have registered and paid, please print and fill out a Risk Form. We must have one for every person that attends retreat. Download a risk form here.

Alpha conflicts with Sessions B,C&D
Delta conflicts with Sessions C,D&E
Omega conflicts with Sessions D,E&F

If you have a short turn around between retreats and need to stay in College Station we can help provide lodging in between (see below).

Can I stay in College Station the night before the first day of my session or the night of the last day of my session?

Yes, we can provide lodging with a member of our staff for 1 or 2 nights before or after retreat if necessary. Email Cole Hubbard to make a request.

I can't come to Impact anymore. Can I get a refund?

We are so bummed that you can't make it! But if you're really sure, you can receive a full refund up until July 22nd. After that we will be unable to give refunds. Just send an email to Zach Austin to cancel your registration and Anna Gregg to receive your refund.
